An abstract submitted by Luis Gomez-Agustina has been accepted for the Institute of Acoustics 21st century developments in musical sound production, presentation and reproduction. The one day meeting will be held at the Nottingham Conference centre immediately before the start of Reproduced Sound on the 21st November 2017. The abstract of the talk to be delivered is entitled, "Do performance musicians need basic acoustic education ?". We hope to see many of you in Nottingham
